How to score a FREE $15 Amazon credit for Prime Day

As is customary, Amazon is reminding folks they can score a FREE $15 Amazon credit before Prime Day (check out the early deals here) if you haven’t made use of your Amazon Photos service yet – all you have to do is upload a single photo too. The details are below. 

How to score a FREE $15 Amazon credit for Prime Day

For those unfamiliar, there’s a thing called Amazon Photos that comes along with your Prime membership. And if you have an Amazon Prime membership and don’t know what Amazon Photos is, you’re in luck. 

If you have never used the Amazon Photos service that comes with your Prime membership, all you have to do is “upload at least one photo through the Amazon Photos app for the first time” before 11:59 p.m. (PT) on July 14, 2025 to receive a FREE $15 Amazon credit. But you’ll likely want to do it before Prime Day goes live on July 8 so you can double down on already discounted products with the credit.

You’ll receive your credit within four days.

It’s pretty simply to make it happen too:

1. Download and sign in to the free Amazon Photos app
2. Turn on Auto-Save to automatically back up your photos and free up space on your phone
3. Within 4 days you will receive an email with your $15 Amazon credit

But just remember, according to the fine print here, you only have to “upload at least one photo” for the first time to land the credit.

Eligible Amazon Prime customers who upload a photo for the first time to the Amazon Photos app are eligible for a $15 promotional credit off their first eligible order of $30 or more on Amazon.com.

• Offer expires at 11:59 p.m. (PT) July 14, 2025.
• Offer only applies to eligible Amazon Prime customers who upload at least one photo through the Amazon Photos app for the first time.
• Customers who were forwarded this offer from parties other than Amazon may not be eligible for this offer.
• You will receive an e-mail from Amazon within 4 days confirming when the promotional credit has been applied to your customer account with instructions on how to redeem the promotional credit.
• Promotional credit will expire at 11:59 p.m. (PT) July 18, 2025.
• Offer only applies to an order over $30 of products sold by Amazon.com or Amazon Digital Services LLC (look for “sold by Amazon.com” or “sold by Amazon Digital Services LLC” on the product detail page). Products sold by third-party sellers or other Amazon entities will not qualify for this offer, even if “fulfilled by Amazon.com” or “Prime Eligible.”
• Taxes, shipping and handling, and gift wrap charges do not apply when determining minimum purchase amount.

• Offer limited to one per customer and account. The maximum benefit you may receive from this offer is $15.
