It’s been a fairly long wait since we got the first teasers of LEGO and Nike’s team-up back in August, but today, we’re getting the first official reveals from the sporty collaboration. That’s right, prepare to lace up and hit the court as The LEGO Group’s long-awaited multi-year partnership – which spans new build sets, kids’ footwear and apparel, as well as community events and activations – has finally kicked off, headlined by the upcoming 43008 Nike Dunk set that’s now open for preorders! Head below to learn about this set and the other reveals we’ve got news on that will be following right behind it.
The first of many to come from the hotly anticipated LEGO and Nike partnership, the new 43008 Nike Dunk makes quite the statement coming out onto the courts, starting with its packaging. It comes in a fresh box design complemented by white borders, featuring an orange background iconic of Nike, with both Nike’s and LEGO’s logos prominently featured.
The 43008 Nike Dunk set will be releasing officially on July 1, 2025 exclusively from LEGO’s online and physical stores with a $99.99 price tag – and you don’t have to wait to lock on down as preorders are open. Keep your eyes peeled, as there will be more set reveals over the summer, poised for September releases, as far as we know at this moment. You can get the full rundown straight from the source within the official announcement here – which details all the other exclusives coming from this partnership.
Stacking up to 1,180 pieces, this will make quite the display item for sports fans, with its brick-built DUNK slogan and basketball – plus, the debut of the unique B’Ball Head minifigure! Speaking of the minifigure, which has a great design, complete with highly detailed printing of the white and blue Nike Dunk sneakers, which is the second-ever time we’ve seen this, right behind the Nike Mags on Marty McFly from the 2022 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine set.
There’s some added fun playable elements here that fit right in too, starting with the rotatable basketball that you can twirl to your heart’s content. The set also has some storage compartments that can hold essential youth items like paperclips, AirPods, and more – and there’s even a little place for B’Ball Head too. You can customize the set to your liking with the different colored laces that come along with it.
